Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will oversee all phases of building projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, surveyors, engineers, and other construction professionals to translate design concepts into successful builds.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, cost estimation, and budgeting.
• Procure materials and equipment, managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
• Recruit, supervise, and manage on‑site staff and subcontractors.
• Supervise daily site activities, monitor subcontractor performance, verify material deliveries, and conduct quality inspections.
• Ensure projects meet time and budget targets by setting benchmarks and tracking progress.
• Review design documents with architects, surveyors, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards through regular site inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Willingness to be assigned to the project site location.
