Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer identifies profitable opportunities, secures strategic deals, and supports the execution of sales strategies to boost company revenue and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation, closing, and post‑sale nurturing.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations, demos, and value propositions tailored to client needs.
• Prepare proposals, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure all required documentation is completed.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and partners, monitor competitor activity, and create account growth plans.
• Conduct regular business reviews, support project delivery, and assist with billing and payment collection.
• Provide regular reports on volume growth, expenses, and account status, and participate in coaching sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or account management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience selling B2B SaaS software products.
• Technical knowledge of system integrations and web services.
