Business Development Manager

About the role

dwp is hiring a full-time Business Development Manager in Manila, reporting to the Managing Director or a designated supervisor. The role covers business development, marketing and promotion, client relationship management, proposal preparation and data management, and includes the use of approved AI tools to support lead generation and content creation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential clients and projects, and plan and implement sales and marketing strategies
• Prepare competitive proposal packages, letters of introduction and expressions of interest, and coordinate with designers and directors on briefings
• Research potential clients through local business newspapers and the internet, and maintain registers of leads, proposals and client targets
• Update marketing information in drive K/marketing edge, the CRM database and project databases
• Plan and run marketing activities such as chamber events, print and online promotion, and create a monthly newsletter
• Organise client events, maintain a media list and prepare client target lists
• Coordinate with other dwp offices on marketing activities and prepare the annual marketing strategy plan
• Use approved AI tools for market research, lead qualification, content creation and data analysis
• Ensure the quality management system is implemented and maintained
• Handle administrative tasks such as typing, filing and arranging presentation equipment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or similar
• Experience in marketing, business development and sales
• Good spoken and written English, with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Time management, planning and coordination skills
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and of real estate development, hospitality, advertising, publishing or design fields
