Back End Engineer (IT Service Management)

About the role

We are looking for a Back End Engineer to act as the first line of defense for our internal stakeholders. You will ensure smooth operation of our technical environment, manage incidents through modern ITSM platforms, and uphold high security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report security threats, including phishing and suspicious events.
• Provide first‑level support for internal and client stakeholders using our ITSM platform.
• Own incident lifecycle: coordinate, investigate, monitor, and follow up with technical resolvers.
• Perform initial validation, risk assessment, and escalation of critical events.
• Conduct periodic health checks on supported systems to prevent business impact.
• Meet daily and monthly SLA/KPI targets and maintain high‑quality documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams for coordinated incident resolution.
• Understand client business needs and align system event management accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in Service Desk and infrastructure management supporting enterprise operations.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and ICT security protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
