Audit Associate (Full-time)

About the role

The Audit Associate position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Metro Cebu. Working under the supervision of senior auditors, you will help plan and execute financial audits for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with applicable reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning audit engagements and performing substantive testing.
• Conduct analytical review procedures and internal‑control walkthroughs.
• Prepare working papers, document audit evidence, and support the preparation of financial statements.
• Coordinate with client personnel to obtain required documentation and address audit queries.
• Identify potential control or process improvements and contribute to meeting engagement deadlines.
• Maintain organized audit files and participate in internal training and knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred; non‑CPAs with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy are also welcome.
• Strong foundation in finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak audit periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with audit or accounting software.
