Associate Developer

About the role

The Associate Developer will join Unicapital’s digital team to design, build, and integrate cutting‑edge financial applications. You will shape both client‑facing dashboards and internal data‑driven systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure system architectures for digital financial products and define integration frameworks with the existing Trading Platform.
• Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs, implement data pipelines, and optimise database structures for performance.
• Create responsive dashboards and user interfaces, incorporating data visualisation components and collaborating with UI/UX designers.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), set up CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance and ensure high availability.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers, participate in sprint planning, code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, coding standards and release notes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years of professional software development experience, preferably in fintech or financial systems.
• Proven ability to work on full‑stack projects and deliver high‑quality code in an agile environment.

Required skills

• Frontend frameworks: React, Vue, or Angular.
• Backend languages/platforms: Node.js, Python, Java.NET (C#).
• API design: REST, GraphQL, WebSockets.
• Databases: SQL (MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Security: OAuth, JWT, access‑control mechanisms.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• DevOps tools: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git.
