Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Makati Shangri‑La hotel is seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to drive profitability and uphold service excellence across all dining outlets. You will work closely with senior management to shape the brand, manage revenue, and lead a dynamic team in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and optimise the profitability of each food and beverage outlet.
• Analyse market and industry trends and propose actionable strategies.
• Maintain high standards of service and guest experience.
• Oversee branding, revenue generation, and performance of F&B colleagues.
• Manage external contracts with suppliers, performers and other partners.
• Lead and mentor the F&B team to deliver exceptional service.

Required profile

• Passion for food and beverage operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English and the local language.
• Experience in a luxury restaurant or 5‑star hotel setting.
• Ability to present confidently to senior management.
• Creative, detail‑oriented, and curious about new culinary trends.
• Professional integrity, leadership by example, and willingness to work shifts.
