Architect I – Commercial Projects

About the role

POLYGON is seeking a newly licensed Architect to join its growing practice and contribute to commercial projects from concept through construction. You will work closely with senior principals, supporting design development, documentation, and on‑site coordination while embracing a client‑centered, problem‑solving mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Assist principals across all project phases, from initial concept to construction delivery.
• Prepare presentations, construction documents, and client deliverables following company standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
• Organise daily project activities and track progress of assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Newly licensed architect with 2–3 years of experience designing commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, site coordination, and code compliance.
• Ability to ask thoughtful questions, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
• Collaborative attitude with a willingness to take ownership and learn new processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
