Architect – Design & Project Coordination

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking an experienced Architect to join its multidisciplinary team working on public transport and sustainable mobility projects. You will collaborate with principals, the project director, and the project architect to deliver efficient, cost‑effective design solutions across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform technical project efforts for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Develop schematic design solutions and actively contribute to detailed design documentation and specifications.
• Assist in site location analysis, concept design, design development, and detailed design phases.
• Collaborate with architectural staff and A/E consultants, providing technical guidance where needed.
• Oversee project tasks from early concept through to detailed documentation and construction support.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture or interior‑related industry.
• Licensed architect not required but considered an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing detailed design projects and working with consultants.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit with proven work experience in architectural drafting.
• Solid understanding of building science, technical detailing, and intermodal design considerations.
