Traffic Engineer – Interchange & Mainline Operations

About the role

This role involves traffic engineering and policy development for both interchange and mainline operations, including performance monitoring, analysis, and recommendations to support operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop measurable and independent interchange traffic performance monitoring systems.
• Analyze interchange traffic performance and recommend policies that support operations based on sound traffic engineering analysis.
• Respond to interchange‑related stakeholder concerns.
• Prepare scope, schedule, and estimate for outsourced interchange traffic studies.
• Monitor, validate, and evaluate consultants' outputs.
• Develop traffic management MOAs in coordination with other departments.
• Monitor implementation of traffic management MOAs and recommend improvements.
• Recommend interchange traffic schemes supported by sound traffic engineering analysis.
• Develop measurable and independent mainline traffic performance monitoring systems.
• Analyze mainline traffic performance and recommend policies that support operations based on sound traffic engineering analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Civil Engineer license.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• At least 2 to 5 years of related work experience.
• Willing to work in Balintawak, Caloocan.
