Airfreight Specialist

About the role

Join OBP as an Airfreight Specialist and become the go‑to expert for time‑critical shipments. You will support customers, coordinate international air logistics, and ensure every delivery meets strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and handle customer requests, advising on restrictions such as weather, geo‑political or trade compliance.
• Find suitable solutions for customer needs and adhere to client‑specific SOPs.
• Represent the client to carriers, negotiate with suppliers and validate service quotes.
• Create and manage shipment files in the F.A.S.T system, giving instructions to Back Officers and maintaining constant communication.
• Process national and international shipments, track AOGs in real‑time, and follow up on loading, pickup and delivery confirmations.
• Control administrative documents, update IT tools, manage dispute cases and supervise Back Officer activity.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of logistics experience with strong exposure to international air operations.
• Expert knowledge of international air transport regulations, Incoterms, customs and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate front‑line AOG operations under high stress.
• Business‑level English proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and strict adherence to procedures and safety standards.
• Availability for 24/7 shift‑based operations, including public holidays.
