Accounts Assistant

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. The role focuses on processing invoices, reconciling accounts and supporting month‑end close activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliation and verify customer refunds.
• Group and reconcile sales from Fishbowl to Reckon, matching against bank remittances.
• Receive, register and enter supplier invoices and credit notes promptly.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, goods receipts or contracts and investigate variances.
• Assist with AP/AR audit samples and respond to auditor queries.
• Enter and reconcile transactions across corporate credit cards.
• Respond to customer requests for invoice copies, statements and account explanations.
• Send monthly statements to on‑account customers and follow up overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate digital filing of financial records and flag discrepancies.
• Act as first point of contact for routine supplier, customer and internal account queries.
