Accounting and Finance Intern

About the role

The internship program offers a 12‑week, real‑world experience across various accounting functions, reporting directly to team leaders and gaining exposure to Finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolve variances, and support month‑end close activities.
• Monitor daily cash activities and participate in consolidation and intercompany elimination processes.
• Provide SEC reporting support, including 10Ks, 10Qs, earnings releases, and benefit plan filings.
• Support preparation of reports using Excel, OneStream, or similar tools and extract data from ERP systems.
• Maintain FP&A templates, coordinate data requests, and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Completed at least two major accounting subjects with a minimum grade of 90% and an overall weighted average of 90%.
• Intent to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working on team projects.
• Curious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data extraction tools such as OneStream.
• Basic knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and financial analysis.
