Travel Counselor III – Corporate Travel Specialist

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking an experienced Travel Counselor III to join its remote team and provide outstanding service to corporate business clients. The role involves advising, arranging, and booking complex travel itineraries while ensuring compliance with travel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers, both individuals and groups.
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options, anticipating traveler needs and selling additional services.
• Book domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations using GDS platforms.
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide positive telephone service, handle special requests, and resolve customer issues independently.
• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.

Required profile

• 5 years of relevant experience in the travel business, with corporate travel experience required.
• Native expertise in Global Distribution Systems, preferably Amadeus.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to act with integrity and protect personal traveler information.
• Flexibility to work rotating morning shifts, graveyard shifts, and weekends as needed.
