Travel Counselor II – Corporate Travel Specialist

About the role

As a Travel Counselor II you will join Amex GBT’s remote team to deliver premium travel services to corporate clients. You will be responsible for planning, booking, and managing business travel while ensuring compliance with client policies and delivering a high‑touch experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international travel for individual and group corporate customers.
• Research travel options, anticipate traveler needs, and promote additional services.
• Book air, road, rail, and accommodation using Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus).
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service provider rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide proactive telephone support and handle special customer requests.
• Collaborate with teammates to coach, mentor, and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Strong passion for client service and proactive problem solving.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and integrity when handling traveler information.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Native expertise in at least one GDS: Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, or Amadeus.
• Solid understanding of the travel industry, especially business travel.
