Training and Development Manager

About the role

The Training and Development Manager will design and deliver learning programs that align with Rose Bakeshop’s business goals, support employee growth, and meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs aligned with company objectives and operational requirements.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify competency gaps and employee development needs.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum, including modules, materials, activities, and assessments.
• Design and deliver engaging training through classroom, on‑the‑job, virtual, and other methods.
• Collaborate with department heads and Operations to ensure relevance to business and store requirements.
• Develop training calendars and learning plans based on identified priorities.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Lead and coordinate the Training Team, ensuring effective implementation of programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Training & Development, Business Administration or related field.
• Licensed Professional Teacher, former professor/instructor, or experienced trainer/facilitator preferred.
• Proven experience in training, curriculum development, teaching, facilitation or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of training needs analysis, instructional design, adult learning and evaluation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop training modules, learning materials and assessment tools.
• Strong organizational, leadership and project management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to stores and other company locations as needed.
