Project Manager – Implementation Services

About the role

ADP’s Workforce Software Implementation Department is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of workforce management solutions for global clients. You will be accountable for planning, executing, and governing software implementation projects from kickoff to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations while ensuring governance activities are followed.
• Proactively manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to keep projects on track.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, internal project teams, and stakeholders, communicating progress and resolving challenges.
• Build trusted relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Required profile

• 3+ years of project management experience with external customers and 5+ years with enterprise software implementations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to shift focus quickly in changing conditions.
• Strong consulting background and familiarity with HR, payroll, or workforce management modules is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project and SmartSheet.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Prince2) and software development life‑cycle processes.
