Student Formation and Discipline Officer

About the role

CIIT is seeking a Student Formation and Discipline Officer to lead student behavior management and development initiatives. The role involves overseeing disciplinary cases, designing formation programs, and ensuring compliance with CHED regulations to support the institution’s mission of industry‑based, student‑centered learning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage student discipline cases from intake through resolution, conducting investigations, hearings, and preparing documentation.
• Design, implement, and evaluate student formation and values development programs aligned with CIIT’s restorative discipline framework.
• Collaborate with students, parents, faculty, and academic leaders to resolve behavioral concerns using restorative approaches.
• Review and recommend updates to discipline policies, the Student Handbook, and ensure compliance with institutional and CHED regulations.
• Maintain confidential student records, prepare analytical reports, and monitor program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Behavioral Science, Social Work or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in student discipline, student affairs, or case management within a college or university.
• Demonstrated ability to handle disciplinary investigations, case conferences, and confidential record management.
• Strong knowledge of CHED regulations, due‑process in student discipline, and restorative justice practices.
