Software Engineer

About the role

N-PAX is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its on‑site team in Calabarzon, Philippines. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining back‑end applications that meet client requirements while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain back‑end software applications and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with QA, product management, and business analysts to deliver features on schedule.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and development practices.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science principles (data structures, algorithms, software design).
• Hands‑on experience in software development and back‑end web development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Calabarzon and collaborate in a team‑oriented environment.
