About the role
Maersk is seeking a Senior Specialist to manage end‑to‑end landside dispatch operations, ensuring timely container movement across truck, rail, and barge networks. The role requires fluent Spanish and English communication and on‑site presence in Pasig City.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate container dispatch across multiple transport modes, monitoring shipments and proactively addressing risks.
- Serve as point of contact and backup team leader, handling customer, carrier, and terminal interactions.
- Manage exception processes, including vendor disputes, charge approvals, and operational issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate operational records, system updates, and documentation for compliance and visibility.
Required profile
- Graduate degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- 6‑8 years of experience in the shipping industry, ideally landside logistics.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to work night shift onsite in Pasig City.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Experience using SAP BI applications or similar systems.
