Single Carrier Landside Operations Team Lead - Spanish Speaker

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Spanish‑speaking leader to head its Single Carrier Landside Operations team. You will drive operational excellence, manage performance metrics and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a global logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team to achieve business outcomes and capability growth.
• Drive end‑to‑end landside operational performance, ensuring service delivery, process compliance and effective issue resolution.
• Own team performance through KPI management, governance, reporting and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Build strong partnerships with regional teams, customers, vendors and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Champion continuous improvement, automation, system adoption and process optimisation.

Required profile

• College or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• 10‑12 years of experience in operations, shipping container, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Prior experience leading individual contributors or team leaders.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Spanish required for stakeholder coordination.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, handle change and deliver results.
