SEO Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to build, maintain, and optimise WordPress websites for large multi-location service businesses, ensuring strong technical SEO performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain WordPress sites, including templates, layouts, plugins, caching and integrations.
• Audit existing websites, diagnose technical issues and recommend whether to repair, improve or rebuild.
• Implement SEO‑driven development, applying technical SEO best practices such as indexation, internal linking, schema markup and Core Web Vitals.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team Leader to align builds with SEO goals and support migrations and technical improvements.
• Continuously suggest improvements to site structure, performance, traffic, rankings and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing, preferably in an agency or MSP environment.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, on‑page and technical SEO.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and working with Australian, US or international clients.
• Hands‑on WordPress experience, including updates, optimisation and troubleshooting.
