Senior Staff Engineer - Python Embedded Linux Integrations

About the role

Nagarro, a digital product engineering company with more than 15,000 experts across 26 countries, is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer for a remote position. The role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining integrations between systems using the Python framework, and deploying them on embedded Linux devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain integrations between various systems using the Python framework.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Deploy and manage integrations on embedded Linux devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.
• Take part in code reviews, testing and debugging.
• Act as a Python developer, working with other developers, test engineers, product managers and stakeholders to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required profile

• Mid-level software developer with strong experience in Python and in designing and writing integrations.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on embedded Linux platforms such as Ubuntu or Mint.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, testing and debugging.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Git and unit/API tests with a Python-compatible toolset

Preferred: scripting-based deployments with Azure DevOps pipelines, Microsoft Azure, the Power Utilities industry, Apache Kafka or Microsoft Event Hubs, OpenAPI documentation with Swagger and YAML, and extensive cloud computing knowledge.
