Senior Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to support our telecom business operations. The candidate will work with a complex production environment, document its architecture, stabilise it and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise Linux‑based firewall clusters and routing infrastructure.
• Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere virtualisation and iSCSI/NFS storage systems.
• Manage backup solutions and automation scripts for telecom services.
• Perform network troubleshooting, incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Document system configurations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and server management.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex infrastructure issues.
• Background in technical support and user assistance with minimal downtime.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
