Senior High School Teacher

About the role

The Senior High School Teacher is responsible for guiding students in their search for truth and knowledge while delivering the instructional program effectively. This role involves preparing lesson plans, delivering lessons, assessing student performance, and providing feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans using the prescribed format and submit them to the Subject Area Coordinator on the scheduled day.
• Deliver daily lessons to assigned classes, adapting plans as needed.
• Evaluate student progress through quizzes, tests, exams, and other assessments designed according to subject guidelines.
• Provide regular feedback by returning tests, exams, and projects promptly.
• Maintain records of student progress and initiate conferences with students and parents when necessary.
• Attend year‑level and subject‑area meetings, faculty retreats, and serve on committees as required.
• Proctor periodical exams and substitute for absent teachers when assigned.
• Implement classroom management routines and procedures.
• Perform any other duties in accordance with APA guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or College degree in Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Professional license (board/bar/professional exam) in Secondary Education.
• At least one (1) year of teaching experience in secondary education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team with a warm personality and flexible attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in G Suite applications.
