Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer you will shape and evolve a global CI/CD platform, partnering with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable pipelines. You will influence platform standards, improve developer experience, and enable consistent software delivery across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates and reusable deployment patterns.
• Support migration of legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with clear documentation.
• Integrate automated security, quality and compliance checks and improve observability using OpenTelemetry.
• Build Python‑based tooling and automation to enhance platform capabilities.
• Provide operational support for pipelines, including critical incident response and mentorship for team members.

Required profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS and IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms, especially Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Proven Python development skills and familiarity with container practices such as Docker, ECR, GitOps and blue/green deployments.
• Experience integrating security, quality and compliance controls into engineering workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and documentation abilities across global teams.
