Senior Android Developer – Hybrid – Up to 80K Salary

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join the Managed Services team of a global accounting firm. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining high‑quality Android applications (with occasional iOS work) while collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications, extending to iOS when required.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to integrate seamless user experiences.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into mobile apps.
• Conduct testing, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure data protection standards.
• Document application features, development processes, and technical updates.
• Support deployment, release management, and ongoing app updates.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with backend services.
• Familiarity with iOS development (Swift/Objective‑C) and cross‑platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native is a plus.
• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to start immediately.
