Raw Materials Handler

About the role

The Raw Materials Handler ensures that all incoming raw materials are received, inspected, stored and issued to production in a timely and accurate manner. This position supports smooth manufacturing operations by maintaining proper inventory levels and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect raw materials for quantity and quality compliance.
• Store materials in designated locations following safety and inventory procedures.
• Issue materials to production based on approved requests or schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, report shortages or discrepancies, and conduct regular stock counts.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, both manual and system‑based.
• Ensure proper labeling and handling to prevent damage or contamination.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse and production teams to guarantee material availability.
• Keep storage and work areas organized, clean and compliant with health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic numeracy and record‑keeping skills.
• Physical ability to handle manual lifting and movement of materials.
• Good communication to interact with cross‑functional teams.
