Procurement and Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The Procurement and Supply Chain Coordinator is a hybrid operational role that supports both purchasing and end‑to‑end logistics. Working remotely, the role handles supplier sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, purchase order processing and follows each order through dispatch, freight, warehouse handling and final client delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review procurement requests, source suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, and support supplier negotiations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchase orders, obtain supplier acknowledgements, track order milestones and manage changes.
• Coordinate movement of goods, obtain freight quotes, handle import/export documentation, monitor shipments and resolve delivery exceptions.
• Provide timely updates to the Perth operations team, cover the Supply Chain Coordinator during leave, and communicate professionally with all stakeholders.
• Maintain complete records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Business Central, Excel and Xero, produce routine reports and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Preferred qualification in procurement, supply chain, logistics or related field.
• At least three years of practical experience in both procurement/purchasing and logistics coordination.
• Experience supporting Australian accounts, knowledge of Incoterms, freight options and total landed cost.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Business Central or similar.
• Exceptional written and spoken English for Australian business communication.
