Project Engineer (CAPEX)

About the role

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of CAPEX projects across multiple engineering disciplines. The role focuses on ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project scopes covering civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and packaging disciplines.
• Coordinate with Engineering Systems Design to ensure smooth execution of project scopes.
• Interface with contractors, conduct regular coordination meetings, and supervise site activities.
• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining project timelines and driving completion.
• Deploy safety compliance strategies and liaise with the EHS Engineer on critical concerns.
• Prepare progress reports and monitor project performance.
• Resolve project issues promptly and escalate critical changes requiring higher authority approval.
• Support implementation plan roll‑out and monitor contractor performance on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fundamental problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience or interest in project management or project engineering is an advantage.
