About the role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead bakery operations, ensuring efficient production, quality assurance, and compliance with safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage production and quality assurance in a continuous‑line bakery environment.
- Oversee production planning, raw material and packaging inventory, and equipment utilization.
- Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with human‑resource functions for staffing and people handling.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, food safety, GMP, HACCP, and occupational health & safety standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering (IE/ME/EE/ChE) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in production and quality assurance within a bakery or FMCG setting.
- Knowledge of production planning, raw‑material and packaging management, production equipment, and HR principles.
- Experience in quality inspection, corrective/preventive action programs, and warehouse/inventory control.
- Familiarity with engineering and technology principles, relevant regulatory requirements, and ISO‑certified environments.
- Understanding of Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
- Above‑average people handling skills.
