About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Inspection Personnel to support its environmental testing activities in Zaragoza. The role combines field inspections of discharges with office-based technical reporting, ensuring compliance with ISO 17020 standards and relevant Spanish legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of discharge points across various locations on the Iberian Peninsula.
• Collect environmental samples (water, soil, sediments) and perform in‑situ measurements when required.
• Complete and file all documentation related to field activities, adhering to internal procedures.
• Prepare technical inspection reports and interpret analytical results.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislation governing drinking water, wastewater and surface water quality.
• Monitor and ensure the application of quality control measures associated with inspections.

Required profile

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Spanish environmental legislation related to water quality.
• Ability to travel frequently to different sites across the peninsula.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good written communication skills for report preparation.
