Performance Marketing Specialist

About the role

Trend Micro is seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Japan and Taiwan. You will work closely with teams in Sydney, Tokyo, Manila and other APAC locations to drive subscription sales and support renewal initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise paid search, display and affiliate campaigns on platforms such as Google Japan, Yahoo! Japan, LINE Ads and Taiwan‑specific networks.
• Ensure paid traffic lands on SEO‑optimised landing pages, manage budgets, bids and pacing, and report performance with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with organic search, affiliate leads and the Manila design/development team to align landing pages, ad copy and localisation for Japan and Taiwan.
• Support PC OEM trial conversions and coordinate digital touchpoints that complement direct‑mail campaigns for renewals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on performance marketing experience, preferably with exposure to Japanese and/or Taiwanese digital markets.
• Strong English communication skills for daily collaboration with teams in Sydney, Tokyo and Manila.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and how paid and organic channels interact.
• Experience with eCommerce or subscription‑based products and data‑driven reporting.
