Outbound Appointment Setter – US Healthcare

About the role

This full‑time remote position focuses on contacting pediatric providers and medical practices across the United States to arrange clinical presentations. The role supports a virtual pediatric clinic that follows American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for ADHD, anxiety, and obesity care.

Key responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls each day to pediatricians, practice managers and clinic staff from a supplied lead list.
• Reach decision‑makers, book clinical presentations or meetings, and secure alternative next steps when a presentation is not a fit.
• Handle gatekeepers, objections and rejection professionally.
• Send follow‑up emails, propose meeting times, coordinate calendars, and manage calendar invitations, confirmations and reminders.
• Log calls, emails, outcomes and next steps in the CRM on the same day and keep lead records up to date.
• Provide feedback on common objections and outreach patterns to improve scripts.
• Assist with lead list cleanup and other data‑processing tasks during lighter calling periods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outbound phone sales, cold calling, telemarketing or appointment setting.
• Strong phone presence with clear, concise communication.
• Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals, office staff and gatekeepers.
• Highly organized, able to manage independent workload and meet targets.
• Familiarity with CRM and VoIP/dialer software.
• Experience making outbound calls to healthcare providers is a plus.
