Mobile Application Engineer

About the role

Singlife Philippines is looking for a Mobile Application Engineer to build and enhance its mobile‑first insurance platform. You will work closely with product managers and solution architects to turn design mock‑ups into high‑quality React Native code that runs smoothly on multiple devices.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret user interface requirements and translate them into functional mobile features.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable React Native code.
• Automate development processes and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues.
• Test, update, and validate the application across different platforms.
• Implement modifications and updates to continuously improve app performance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant mobile development experience.
• Prior experience in insurtech or fintech is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of React Native.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with publishing mobile apps to app stores (preferred).
