Materials Planner

About the role

First Sumiden Circuits, Inc. is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to manage material flow and inventory for its electronics production lines. The role focuses on ensuring optimal stock levels, supporting production schedules, and driving continuous improvement within the materials planning function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material plans (MRP) aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking, auditing, and regular reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to synchronize material requirements.
• Resolve complex supply‑chain issues and address escalated operational problems.

Required profile

• College graduate; a BS in Industrial Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials planning, preferably within an electronics company.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, inventory limits, and material turnover.
• Detail‑oriented with solid analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Experience conducting WIP counts and generating related reports.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
