Marketplace Head

About the role

SnapMart is seeking a Marketplace Head to drive the growth of its third‑party seller business on Landers.ph. The role combines business development, seller onboarding, and performance management to generate measurable gross merchandise value (GMV) for the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, negotiate and close deals with new sellers, brand partners and distributors across priority categories.
• Build and maintain a high‑quality seller roster by leveraging existing networks and creating attractive commercial terms.
• Oversee the full seller lifecycle—from contract signing to live listings and first orders—ensuring activation targets are met.
• Design and enforce seller success playbooks covering assortment depth, pricing, campaign participation and logistics readiness.
• Set, monitor and drive individual seller sales targets, intervening early when performance lags.
• Define and regularly adjust priority categories based on member demand, competition and macro trends.
• Lead a lean team responsible for business development, onboarding and seller success, establishing clear targets and standards.

Required profile

• Proven track record in marketplace or eCommerce business development and seller acquisition.
• Strong analytical mindset to evaluate category performance and market dynamics.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams focused on growth.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to craft mutually beneficial commercial agreements.
