About the role
Join Emapta as a Junior Underwriter supporting U.S. mortgage underwriting operations. You will work night shifts from our Ortigas office, enjoying weekends off and immediate health coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Review mortgage loan files for U.S. lenders, assessing credit, income, appraisal, and compliance documentation.
- Verify that all closing requirements are met and flag any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with senior underwriters and global teams to ensure accurate risk assessment.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or 0‑2 years experience in finance, banking, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work night shift with weekends off.
Required skills
- Understanding of mortgage underwriting principles.
- Familiarity with credit analysis and income verification.
- Basic knowledge of appraisal review and compliance standards.
