Junior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

Squadzip is building a secure, scalable DevOps infrastructure to support its growing SaaS platform. As a Junior AWS DevOps Engineer you will focus on cloud operations, automation, and security while ensuring reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS services such as Fargate, ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch.
• Implement IAM best practices, access controls and security logging.
• Manage Docker containers, optimize Fargate workloads and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeCommit.
• Run security scans on container images with tools like Trivy and AWS Inspector.
• Deploy and monitor PostgreSQL databases, configure backups, connection pooling and read replicas.
• Monitor system logs, security alerts and cloud‑compliance tools to keep the environment secure.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement of cloud efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong interest in Linux system administration and cloud infrastructure operations.
• Passion for automation, reliability and security in production environments.
• Willingness to learn and follow AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
