ITAM Specialist - Hardware Asset Management

About the role

Datacom, an Australasian technology provider with offices in the Philippines, is looking for an ITAM Specialist (Hardware Asset Management) for its Customer Centric Managed Services team. The role optimizes the purchase, deployment, utilization, replacement and disposal of hardware for Datacom's customers, and the office is located in BGC Taguig with a hybrid setup twice a week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily administration of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) activities and ensure compliance with Datacom and customer HAM policies, processes and procedures.
• Make sure delivery teams, customers and process participants follow HAM processes in line with customer requirements and ITIL best practices.
• Implement and manage the Configuration Management System, including CMDB and AMDB, and keep asset information up to date.
• Coordinate the logistics of the hardware lifecycle, including collection, replacement, return or disposal of laptops.
• Maintain HAM documentation, work instructions, user guides and appendices, and review and update them annually or earlier if needed.
• Lead audits and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data.
• Advise customers on HAM solutions and own the end-to-end hardware request management process, running regular forums with process participants.
• Record every deployed device in the HAM tool and work with procurement teams on business requests.
• Monitor HAM compliance, including customer SLAs, KPIs and health reporting, and escalate risks documented with the SDM and Account Teams and tracked in risk registers.

Required profile

• Experience in working with ServiceNow.
• Understanding of end-to-end hardware request and deployment processes.
• Experience creating, documenting, maintaining and implementing policies, processes and procedures.
• Experience in a continuous service improvement plan and in a hardware audit.
• Able to analyze large amounts of data in Excel or alternative database software.
• Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrixed organization.
