IT Site Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Site Support Specialist provides end‑to‑end technical assistance for hardware, software, network and server issues across Advanced Energy’s sites. Reporting to the IT Manager, the role ensures timely resolution of incidents, maintains IT assets and supports both day‑to‑day user needs and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests via the Service Desk system.
• Provide desktop and end‑user support for PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices and Wi‑Fi access.
• Install, configure, update and maintain software, operating systems, peripherals and network equipment.
• Deploy new PCs, manage roll‑downs and keep accurate asset inventories.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior resources and coordinate with vendors and the Purchasing team.
• Support onboarding, training, manufacturing systems and ensure compliance with quality, safety and policy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with LAN, network, servers and PC support.
• Certifications: MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA and ITIL.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows OS, Outlook, Office, Active Directory, DHCP.
• Desktop and mobile device setup (iOS/Android).
• Network support: wired/wireless LAN, Cisco 9300 switches, VOIP (Cisco), access points.
• Server platforms: Dell servers, VxRail, Nutanix.
• Printer and multifunction device configuration and troubleshooting.
