About the role

Cloudstaff is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its Cebu office in a hybrid work arrangement. The role supports assurance and advisory engagements across multiple industries, providing a solid foundation for professional growth while collaborating with senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk advisory engagements such as internal audit, consulting, and compliance projects.
• Work directly with clients at various organizational levels to understand their processes and control environments.
• Perform technical and operational reviews, analyze data, and liaise with third‑party stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic working papers and ensure timely completion for senior review.
• Summarise findings, identify issues, and draft practical recommendations.
• Prepare engagement reports that deliver commercial business advice.
• Identify ethical or conflict‑of‑interest matters and refer them to management.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary degree or professional qualification.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Organised, reliable, self‑motivated with solid problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of governance processes, internal controls, and ISO 31000 risk‑management standards.
• Awareness of business risks affecting clients and basic computer literacy.
