HR Manager – People and Culture

About the role

The HR People & Culture Manager is a strategic, hands‑on leader responsible for shaping a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance, talent acquisition, and strong employee relations. Reporting to the Country Head, the role balances operational HR execution with people‑first strategies that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment initiatives, partner with hiring managers, and ensure timely, high‑quality hiring across all levels.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, and leadership behaviours.
• Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and other HR functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Conduct new‑hire orientation and manage the transition from recruitment to training.
• Plan and oversee employee events, wellness initiatives, and community involvement.
• Participate in reviewing, amending, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Handle unemployment claims, represent the company at hearings, and ensure compliance with legal and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a people‑and‑culture or employee experience focus.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
• Excellent investigative and conflict‑resolution skills with a neutral, trusted advisory approach.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of HR practitioners.
• Effective communication and coaching abilities for managers and staff.
