Head of Sales – Lead Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across existing and new service lines. This senior position reports to senior leadership and works closely with marketing, delivery and executive teams to ensure alignment from lead generation through service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end sales processes that improve conversion rates, deal velocity and pipeline quality.
• Own revenue targets, forecasting and ensure predictable, scalable growth.
• Identify new revenue opportunities, including new offerings, pricing models and go‑to‑market approaches.
• Expand sales networks, build strategic partnerships, alliances and referral channels to open new market channels.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and strategic negotiations.
• Recruit, train, coach and mentor a high‑performing sales team, fostering a performance‑driven culture.
• Engage personally in high‑value or complex sales opportunities, supporting deal structuring and closing.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role within professional services, consulting or a related industry.
• Demonstrated success creating and executing sales strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth.
• Strong background in building scalable sales processes and key performance indicators.
• Experience expanding sales networks, partnerships and new market channels.
• Track record of training, coaching and leading sales teams to improve performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and executive‑level presentation skills.
• Experience handling B2B accounts; experience with multilateral government agency partnerships is a plus.
