Head of Application Policy Servicing

About the role

Prudential is looking for a Head of Application Policy Servicing in Metro Manila. The role leads the head software engineering team for policy servicing, covering all applications used in this area, and ensures technical deliverables meet the standards expected by business stakeholders. It also involves working with the regional platform team to deliver the regional platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, design and develop an end-to-end technical framework for a local solution or its integration with partner systems or external APIs.
• Gather and analyse requirements, design and document solutions, and deliver business initiatives end to end.
• Analyse current technology trends, the regional technology roadmap and the company's current technology state, and design for future convergence and sustainability.
• Document and monitor requirements for proposed updates, propose and establish frameworks for contributions from various departments, and account for risks, time, resources and scope.
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions and build the company software framework and development standards aligned with regional direction.
• Design and lead an internal team in building a local in-house mobile or web application.
• Lead technical integrations with regional platforms or third-party partners such as eWallet, banks and lead-generation partners.
• Oversee project strategies and processes, develop software testing guidelines, and plan technical support and application management after go-live of critical applications.
