Google Workspace Administrator

About the role

The System Administrator manages, maintains, secures, and optimizes the enterprise Google Cloud collaboration environment, ensuring reliable service delivery and compliance with security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Automate onboarding and off‑boarding of user accounts, ensuring day‑one access for new hires and secure data preservation for departing employees.
• Design and maintain Organizational Units and Groups to control permissions and service access.
• Integrate Workspace with Identity Providers such as Okta or Azure AD and manage SSO configurations.
• Enforce MFA/2SV and Context‑Aware Access, and create DLP rules to protect sensitive data.
• Manage Google Vault retention policies, legal holds, and discovery searches.
• Configure and troubleshoot SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for email security.
• Administer core services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Chat) and oversee Shared Drive lifecycle.
• Audit third‑party Marketplace apps and manage API token grants.
• Execute bulk operations using GAM or Python scripts and manage MDM for iOS, Android, and ChromeOS devices.
• Investigate security alerts with the Security Investigation Tool and review Admin Audit Logs and BigQuery export logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience administering Google Workspace, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
