Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Freight Operations Coordinator. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth shipping processes and maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and freight partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
• Handle quotation, pricing, and rate negotiation with international agents and freight partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
• Apply knowledge of the freight forwarding process to manage shipments efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate shipments.
• Track, trace, and ensure timely delivery of shipments, addressing service concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with customs and shipping regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and overseas agents regarding shipment updates and requirements.
• Assist in resolving delivery issues or delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1 year of logistics or freight operations experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, logistics software).
• Willingness to work at Mahi Center, Lapu‑Lapu City.
