Finance Business Partner - Wholesale Banking Sectors and Products

About the role

ING Hubs Philippines is looking for a Finance Business Partner for Wholesale Banking Sectors and Products within Global Finance Wholesale Banking. You will act as a senior advisory partner, linking product and sector performance to financial outcomes and steering planning, forecasting and performance discussions. Based in Makati, you functionally report to the Lead of Finance Advice Wholesale Banking Sectors or Products and work with global finance stakeholders, business leads and Head Office Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide decision-ready advice, insights and constructive challenge for assigned wholesale banking sectors and products
• Link business performance to financial outcomes such as revenue, cost, balance sheet, liquidity, capital, FTP, RWA and risk-adjusted performance
• Lead Flash, Actuals, Dynamic Plan and Rolling Forecast activities with clear narratives and variance analysis
• Provide business controlling insights on cost, FTE, investment, recharge, accrual and allocation movements
• Maintain data quality and control discipline in management accounting systems such as MIS One Bank and Value Reporter
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and respond to ad hoc analysis requests
• Collaborate with wholesale banking business teams, Finance Advice, Head Office Finance and global stakeholders
• Drive automation, continuous improvement and capability uplift across finance advisory, business controlling and product knowledge

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; CPA, CMA, CFA or a master's degree is an advantage
• At least 10 years of finance experience in FP&A, business partnering, business controlling, financial advisory or performance management, with a strong preference for wholesale banking exposure
• Hands-on understanding of wholesale banking products, sectors, revenue and cost drivers, liquidity, capital, FTP and RWA; corporate banking, lending, transaction services or financial markets experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with banking performance language in the Philippine market (P&L analysis, budget and forecast cycles, variance analysis, management reporting)
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities under tight timelines
