Business Analyst - Management Accounting Reporting

About the role

ING is hiring a Business/Data Analyst for its Accounting Tribe within the Finance COO organisation, focusing on the Management Accounting (MA) chapter. The role sits in the CPRS Data & Reporting squad and contributes to the innovation and standardisation of the Global Finance Reporting and Data landscape. It is an international, agile squad with frequent interaction across ING departments.

Key responsibilities

• Change and maintain the Value Reporter application for client profitability
• Translate business needs into solutions and technical requirements
• Create efficient data flows that fit the target architecture and data landscape
• Build BI solutions through prototypes in BI tools such as Power BI
• Share advanced techniques with the Finance organisation through knowledge sharing
• Work on innovative projects with other data and business analysts within ING
• Analyse data quality and meaning, and prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with the necessary knowledge and analytical skills
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in finance, management accounting and client profitability
• Fluency in English, written and spoken

Required skills

• Business intelligence tooling and SQL
• Dimensional modelling (e.g. Kimball/Star)
• Data warehouse concepts (ETL, data sources, staging, data marts)
• Power BI
