Customer Journey Expert - Funding Management Squad

About the role

ING is looking for a Customer Journey Expert to join its Funding Management Squad within the Wholesale Banking Lending Tribe. The role sits at the intersection of Lending, Treasury and Technology, with end-to-end responsibility for improving the funding journeys that support lending products. It works in an Agile squad, translating business needs into scalable product solutions and optimizing processes to reduce friction in the internal funding process.

Key responsibilities

• Design, improve and optimize end-to-end funding journeys for lending products and services
• Translate business requirements into user journeys, product features and delivery initiatives
• Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable funding solutions
• Drive integration initiatives across multiple systems and platforms
• Ensure solutions meet operational, compliance and control requirements
• Support user acceptance testing, implementation and go-live across multiple countries
• Identify opportunities to increase automation and straight-through processing
• Align stakeholders and promote clear documentation and delivery standards
• Contribute to the functional roadmap for funding capabilities

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services supporting global user communities
• Proven ability to turn business requirements into product features and customer journeys
• Experience with complex technology landscapes and system integrations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working

Nice to have

• Wholesale Banking, Lending or Treasury/Funding products knowledge
• SQL and API integration concepts
• Automation and digital transformation experience
